Returns and Refund Policy
Matt Connell Wines will make every effort to ensure that your purchases are not faulty or defective. Under the Consumers Guarantees Act we will replace goods that are not of merchantable quality. Privacy Policy
We respect and honor the privacy of our customers. We will not at any stage sell or rent your personal information to any third parties. If you agree to sign up to our wine club or mailing list; your details will be added to our database to receive updated information. Any personal details collected by Matt Connell Wines Ltd are stored in a private database that will only be used to support your customer relationship with us.

Terms and Conditions for Wine Club & Wine Purchases
By purchasing products via the Matt Connell Wines Website you both agree and are bound by the terms and conditions listed on this webpage. These terms and conditions may be amended by Matt Connell Wines Ltd at any time by posting amended or new terms on this website.

Wine Club Membership
Matt Connell Wines ltd wine club membership is subject to a minimum of four purchases. By ticking the terms and conditions box before sign up confirmation you are agreeing to sign up to these terms. After one year you are free to cancel at your own discretion.

Sale of Liquor Act
Matt Connell Wines is a New Zealand owned off license as defined in New Zealand’s Sale of Liquor Act and is legally authorised to promote, sell and deliver wine via online or mail order. It is illegal for Matt Connell Wines to sell liquor to any persons under the age of 18. It is also illegal for anyone to purchase alcohol who is under 18 and to make a false declaration of their age in order to purchase liquor. It is against the law to use this website to purchase liquor if you are under the age of 18.

Payment Policy
Matt Connell Wines Ltd accepts all payments via Visa and MasterCard. As a New Zealand owned organization all payments are made in NZ dollars, inclusive of 15% GST.

Payment Security
Matt Connell Wines Ltd does not retain any credit card information provided by our customers. All payments are done securely through our bank and payment provider. Our payment providers are committed to data security and use a variety of technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorized access.

Delivery Times

Host Responsibility Policy
Our aim is to promote the Sale of Liquor in a responsible manner.
Any refusal of sale of our wines to you should be viewed by any recipient as an indication that we are concerned for your well being and conscious of our obligations under the law.
All staff are conversant with the requirements of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 (the Act), which prohibits any sale of alcohol to minors (under 18’s). Online customers must declare they are over 18 in order to purchase from our web site. By buying on our website you must also declare via a check box that you agree to the terms and conditions of sale, this includes that any prospective receiver is over 18 years of age. If a customer’s age is in doubt we will not sell to the customer.
The couriers and freight forwarders used to distribute our products are from reputable companies.
